When patients are taking long-term antibiotics, we advise that their blood tests are monitored four-monthly to look out for any signs of toxicity or organ impairment.
Some of our patients will be able to be referred for these blood tests locally by their NHS GP, but we are aware that this option is not always available.
We have now set up a phlebotomy service so that you can get the blood tests done conveniently at the Artemis Cystitis Clinic. You may request additional blood tests if you wish.
The results will be sent to you within 48hrs of the test, along with clinical advice from our Doctors on any action that is required.
